1. Geevareechen (3g): He is the fifth son of Cherian Puthenpurackal (2g) who is the 3rd son of Judge Kochitty Kuruvilla and the founder of Paikandathil branch. His mother was from the Middle East as narrated under Cherian Puthenpurackal and the 2nd wife of Cherian Puthenpurackal. He along with his siblings from the third marriage, Cheriachen and Kunjumman moved to Fort Kochi to learn English language from an English grammar school. During this time, Geevareechen married Pappyamma of Akkara family of Kottayam. The marriage was very grand in those days that representatives of the Maharajah of Travancore and British Resident also attended. He got the job of Sub-Registrar due to proficiency in English. He decided to move to his own house at Paikandathil and stayed there. He had 3 daughters and one son. But both he and his wife passed away 2 days apart when the children were young. The entire burden landed on Pappachen, his son. It may be curious to know that when Pappachen married, he was 18 years old and his bride (Sosamma) was just 14 years old.
