The Manimalaparambil family branch originates from the third marriage of Cherian Puthenpurackal(Born in 1815). After the death of his second wife, he married Mariamma of Puthenpurackal, Puthencavu. They had three children: two sons and a daughter.

Children of Cherian Puthenpurackal and Mariamma:

● Kunjumman (Kochikachen) (3rd generation) - son

● Rahelamma - daughter, married to Philipose, Thekkeveettil, Thumpamon.

Cheriachen was married twice.

First Marriage: Mariamma of Thazhamangalath, Thevalakkara

They had one son. Mariamma passed away when their son was young.

Unnoonny earned a B.A. degree from MCC, Madras. He was considered a visionary and a man ahead of his time. He was married twice.

First Marriage: Aleyamma(Elizabeth), Kakkanat Pukadiyil family, Kottayam

They had one son. Aleyamma passed away after their son's birth.

They had two sons and six daughters.

● 1.1.3. Kochelyamma - daughter, married to K.J. Alexander, Kodiat, Thiruvalla. They have three sons - Alex, Babuji and Jacobkutty

● 1.1.4. Annamma - daughter, married to C.K. Thomas, Kannukuzhy, Kottayam. They have a daughter, Geetha, and a son, Thomaskutty

● 1.1.5. Leela - daughter married to Abraham Verghese, Mavelil, Kaviyoor. They have 2 sons and 2 daughters. Abraham Roy Verghese, Mohan Verghese, Rani Thomas Oommen, Reena Dileep Ilampaliyil. 

● 1.1.6. Sophy Cherian - daughter, married to M.C. Cherian, Moolamannil, Thiruvalla. They have 2 sons and 1 daughter. Capt. M.C. Cherian(Ajith), George Cheian(Georgy) and Anna Mathew (Sonnu).

● 1.1.7 Rachel "Ammini" Mathew Poothicote (1933-1961) - daughter, married to O A Mathew "Moti" Oruvatithara. They have three sons - Abraham (Abey) Mathew, Dilip Mathew, Mathai Mathew

● 1.1.9. P.G. Cherian (Kunjumon) (5th generation) - son

P. C. Cherian married Accamma Cheryan(Kunjikutty), daughter of C.J.Korah, Akkara Kattipparambil family, Aruthooty, Kottayam. They have one son and two daughters.

● 1.1.1.1. P.C.Cheryan (Kochumon) (6th generation) - son

● 1.1.1.2. Elizabeth(Mol) - daughter, married to Babu Kuriyan, Puthenangady Kalarickal family, Kottayam, and currently settled in bangalore. Mol has two daughters, Sapna and Soni.

● 1.1.1.3. Jani - daughter, married to K. T. Paul, Karimpinal, Kanjirapally. They have 3 sons, Thomman, Cheriyappi & Nikky, all married & presently abroad. 

Kochumon married Preetha of Puliyat Thukalan, Mulamthuruthy. Kochumon is a Rifle shooting Champion, having won the Gold medal in the year 2000, in the Veterans All India Rifle shooting championship. 

They have one son and one daughter.

● 1.1.1.1.1. Renjith Cheryan (7th generation) - son, besides managing the family rubber plantation, is also an accomplished keyboard/organ teacher 

● 1.1.1.1.2. Deepa - daughter, married to Dr. Rajesh Kurian, Kulangara Puthenveedu, N.Paravur and is settled in Kuwait. Deepa is an artist (gold medalist in Fine Arts from Madras University). Deepa has two daughters - Saira and Samira. Saira Abraham, now married to Tonmoi (Assam Royal family) & now in Seattle, USA Saira is a post graduate in psychology. Samira is an architect and is working in Kuwait.

P. O. Cherian married Khanam. They had one son. He worked in Beirut before moving to the USA, where he joined the World Bank in Washington until his retirement. Despite migrating, he retained his Indian citizenship. He passed away in February 2019, and his body was brought to Thiruvalla and buried in the Orthodox church, Kuttapuzha, as per his wish. His father had donated the land for this church to Bishop H.G. Dionysius of Pathanapuram.

Unni Cherian married Lynn F. Cherian and lives in Washington DC, USA.

P.G. Cherian married Ammu of Pazhayaprambil Kandathil. He earned a degree from Madras Christian College and a post-graduation from Bombay University. He then spent four years in the UK before returning to Kerala to manage the private limited company founded by his father. He has one son and two daughters.

● 1.1.8.1. Kiran - daughter, married to Geoffrey Thomas of Kaliyankal Valiyaveetil Puthenpurackal Thoppil Puthenkavu. They have a son Dr. Aaron G. Thomas.

● 1.1.8.2. Eliza - daughter, married to Vivek Kuruvilla of Pulicaparambil, Bangalore. They have a daughter, Tara.

● 1.1.8.3. George Cherian (Georgy) (6th generation) - son

George Cherian married Nikita, Kochuveettil, Pampady. They have one son and one daughter.

Kochappy married Annamma of Kollenkeril, Aymanam. He obtained his B.A. from Maharajas College and then joined one of the Tata companies. Later, he became a registrar of the Travancore registration department. He passed away in 1981 and had one son and three daughters.

● 1.2.2. Mariam "Molly" Cherian Poothicote - daughter, married to Oommen Iti Cherian "Thambi" of Mathukunnathu Chathannoor. They have two sons - Abraham (Vinod) Cherian & Oommen (Prasad) Cherian

● 1.2.3. Annie - daughter, married to Abraham Varghese "Kunjavarachen" Puthenpurackal Alleppey. They have a son, Zubin Varghese

● 1.2.4. Elizabeth "Kunjumol" George - daughter, married to K.C. "Aniyan" George. They are settled in Jawahar Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram. They have two sons and one daughter. Dr. Nebu Abraham George, Mohan Jacob George, Anitha Elizabeth Kurien. 

Rajan completed his B.Sc. and joined Parry & Co as a Superintendent in Trichy. He married Jayanthi (Elizabeth Rajan). He later settled in Mepral and eventually moved to Vellore, where he passed away. He has one daughter and two sons.

Kunjappy was known for being the tallest and most sturdy among his siblings. He assisted his elder brother Unnoonny (Cherian Poothicote) in establishing an estate in Ranni for the private limited company his brother founded. He tragically died of malaria while staying in the forests of Ranny. He was not married. Kunjappy was said to have commanded the entire family, and all his siblings, including elders, were obedient to him.

Chackochen married Baby of Koipuram Nedumchira Puthenveetil, Chathanoor. He began engineering studies in Madras but cut them short to pursue politics. He joined the Indian National Congress and participated in the freedom struggle, even being imprisoned with other freedom fighters. He served as president of the Mandalam Congress of Thiruvalla for many years and organized the 1948 state Congress Meeting at Mepral. He received the Thamra Patram from the Indian government for his contributions to the freedom struggle. He has one son and three daughters.

● 1.4.1. Lalitha Oommen - daughter, married to David Oommen, Panangot, Kundara. They are settled in Chicago, USA. They have three daughters. Manju Elizabeth Woods, Sanju Oommen Greene, Premu Griffin.

● 1.4.2. Annie Jacob - daughter, married to Cherian Jacob, Kaleekkal, Kozhuvalloor. They are settled in Kuravankonam, Thiruvananthapuram. They have two sons. Anil Cherian Jacob and Dr. Ashok Cherian Jacob.

● 1.4.3. Thampy (Cherian Poothicote) (5th generation) - son

● 1.4.4. Kochumol (Aleykutty Kovoor)- daughter, married to Eapen Ninan of Kovoor Kunnathu, Thiruvalla. She is deceased. She has one Daughter, Anu Oommen and she is settled in Seattle, USA.

Thampy married Prabha of Mooken, Thrissur. He pursued higher studies and worked in the USA for several years before moving to Nigeria. He later returned and became an Area Manager for Singer Sewing Machine company. He is now settled in Kalamassery, Kochi and has one son.

Chicku married Smitha, Valiyaveetil Thondolikkal, Mallappally. Both he and his wife is settled in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Georgekutty married Ammini of Manianat Kandathil, Thiruvalla. He earned his B.A. and joined the military during World War II. After his service, he was recruited by the Ethiopian Education Department to work in Emperor Haile Selassie's secondary schools. He retired after 18 years and settled in Ramanchira, Thiruvalla. He has one daughter and one son.

● 1.5.1. Lalu George - daughter, married to George Punnose of Ottathykal, Ernakulam. They have one daughter, Shanas Abraham

● 1.5.2. Cherian George (Sabu) (5th generation) - son

Cherian George married Soma (Lila) of Chiraparambil, Thiruvalla. He worked at Catholic Syrian Bank as a chief manager and zonal manager in Calcutta, Mumbai, and Madras. He retired as DGM in 2012 and settled in Thiruvalla. Soma also worked as an Assistant Manager at CSB. They have one daughter and one son.

● 1.5.2.1. Sheena Elizabeth Cherian - daughter, married to Sanju Joseph of Vayaliparambil, Nedumbasserry. They have a son, David Joseph.

● 1.5.2.2. Georgy C Poothicote (6th generation) - son

Georgy C Poothicote holds a post-graduation and professional qualification in SAP. He has worked at HP, Karr Technologies, TCS and is currently an IT Manager at Kraft Heinz in Toronto, Canada.

Kunjumman married Mariamma of Vazhaparambil, Puthupally. He, along with his elder brother Cheriachen and step-brother Geevarhechen of Paikandathil, went to Cochin to study English, renting a house and employing workers for assistance. After his studies, he went to Trivandrum to study law and passed the pleader exam. He then practiced as an advocate in Kottayam before moving to Thiruvalla. He had one son and three daughters.

● 2.2. Kunjamma - daughter, married to Avarachen of Mammoottil, Thalavady

● 2.3. Kunjanamma - daughter, married to Varkiachen, Kalarickal, Kiliroor

● 2.4. Kunjumariamma - daughter, married to Koshy, Oorayil, Chengannur

P.C. Cherian married Saramma of Variamkattil Kandathil, Thiruvalla. He earned a B.A. from Punjab University and an L.T. from Madras University. He worked in Singapore for a period before returning to Thiruvalla, where he managed the Deccan Bank branch. He later became a teacher at MGM High School. He was skilled in writing English and assisted others in drafting English letters and documents. He also started a profitable gold loan business in Thiruvalla called "Kalikavu Trust," leveraging his banking experience. He had two daughters.

● 2.1.1. Leela - daughter, married to T.V. Varghese, Thukalan. They have a son and a daughter - Ben Varghese and Sarah.

● 2.1.2. Kunjumol - daughter, married to Kurian of Vayaliparambil, Perumbavoor. She is deceased. They have a son - Kursan Kurain, settled in Chennai..
